Is it so? Of course not. It is humans that creates and finance pollution!
Homo sapiens have created a lot of methods to destroy it´s own children, loved ones, friends and foreigners. Cocaine is one of the methods. Bribes are another. Violence a third. But maybe pollution is the most effective way. A method which can kill both humans and the animals that give us food. A method which can make clean water undrinkable, and the air dangerous to breath.
People all over the world fights every day against these deadly weapons. Individuals, NGO:s, politicians and entrepreneurs in every single country use all available resources to stop the most deadly weapons first. When that work is done, we can continue with the other problems in the world (local conflicts, smaller environmental issues as invasive flowers and mindless regulations that delay progress)
We can´t blame the young generation for the pollution, the drug industry or the violence. Every man and woman have a responsibility to stop the using of deadly weapons like the methods mentioned above. We who are middle-age or belongs to the older generation has to change our behaviour. And we need the intelligence, awareness and knowledge that our children and grandchildren have. Because they are going to live in the world that we create to them. Their opinion matters.
Malala Yousafzai, Greta Thunberg, Alaa Salah, and other young women has started revolutions in different areas. We need them all. And all other brave women and men who try to create a better world. Journalists, whistle blowers, farmers, nurses, politicians, entrepreneurs, human rights activists. Everyone is needed to stop corruption, pollution and violence.
In the meantime…
There are a few countries in the world that doesn´t think corruption, pollution and violence are a problem. They use their resources to other things instead. Like Sweden. Where the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the TV-channel “SVT” and some local environmental organizations gives one single flower all their resources right now. Because they think that this flower is the greatest threat against the world.
Right now I´m happy that Sweden is a very small country with a limited influence on the rest of the world.
Below a picture of lupines - the invasive flowers which are seen as the biggest problem in Sweden right now.
